As for getting that Beat into the U.S., it's going to be tough getting it legally registered in this country because the DOT regs require modern cars to pass crash testing and emissions standards. When a local tuner shop began importing Skyline GTR's into the U.S., they had to run a few GTRs into a wall to clear the test standards.
If you don't comply with the law, the Feds can come after you, which is what happened with a shop that tried importing and selling recent vintage Alfas a few years ago. The owners of those cars were left with having to destroy them or exporting them out of the U.S.
