Thanks Rod - Happy Holidays to All! - Christmas, New Years, and Hanukkah (maybe others) - Susan & I are a mixed marriage (she was brought up Jewish and I Catholic), so we've always lit a menorah - below (2nd pic) our favorite one on the final day from a few years back - about to start the tradition again in a few days - Dave

Hey Dave...have you ever heard of a "Hanukkah Bush"?
- Nick
A Hanukkah bush is a bush or tree—real or simulated—that some North American Jewish families display in their homes for the duration of Hanukkah. It may, for all intents and purposes, be a Christmas tree (without any Christian ornaments). The Hanukkah bush is a bone of contention between those Jews who see it, especially in its "menorah look-alike" manifestations, as a distinctly Jewish plant badge; and those Jews who regard it as an assimilationist variation of a Christmas tree — especially when it is indistinguishable from the latter. The latter group are concerned about Jews who appear to inch their way away from Jewish and into Christian theological traditions. (Source)
