Make a VPN connection between Mac and Win10.

Hi,

I have the following problem; I need to connect my Mac to a Win 10 computer at my work. I have the following equipment:

At home:
1 MacBook Pro running Big Sur.
1 iMac running Catalina.

At work:
1 Archer C7 router.
1 Win 10 computer.

So, how can I set ut an VPN-connection to my workplace in order to use Remote Desktop (or something) at home to operate my win 10 computer? What info do I need to set up such a connection? IP adresses etc?

Use the following instruction to setup a VPN through the Archer router and then you would use OpenVPN on your Macs at home to connect to the VPN connection and then you can RDP to the Windows computer.

Or you can use the free version of TeamViewer.

I use this to connect to my Windows 10 work computer and my Macbook Pro (Big Sur)
