Hi all

I am about to buy the above MacBook at a bargain price.

My question is whether this would comfortably run FCPX?

Any help would be appreciated :)

Depends on what OS is on the machine, or what it is capable of running - software needs macOS 10.13.6 or later. Final Cut Pro X - Technical Specifications

That's a ten-year-old notebook so check prices on ebay etc to see if you really are getting a 'bargain'.

Take note that a Mid 2009 15" Notebook can only run up to 10.11.6. As you have been told, FCPX needs at least 10.13.6 or later. You might want to pass up that "bargain" and look for something a lot newer. :wink
