Mouse?

Hi, just wanted to let you know...

Another thing to check is your mouse. I was using a Logitech VX revolution mouse and found that to be the definitive cause of my kernel panics. Doing a search I found many other had the same experience. After dumping the mouse, I've had not a single kernel panic in 6 mos. Make sure you isolate any periferals so as to remove those variables. Excellent advice for others following this thread trying to diagnose a problem with similar symptoms.

As we can see, kernel panics can be provoked by other causes than bad RAM.

Ehhh gosh, guys.

Apple has put my repair on hold because they apparently can not recreate even one of the billion Kernel Panics that I received. They tell me that nothing is wrong with the laptop, but I (tried to) politely ask them why I would have called 6 times if nothing was wrong at all.

D: I left a voicemail to the Product Specialist that told me to call him back if I have problems, though. Hopefully I will get a callback soon.

And on the subject of the mouse, I have a cheap logitech wireless mouse, but it is not that model, and I am sure that I had KP's without it being plugged in, also. Blah...

Can't the techs see with the system logs what caused the kernel panics? I mean you couldn't write a log yourself!

Hopefully it'll go nuts in their hands tomorrow.
