MacBook as desktop - Lid open or closed?

You can change that...

Just hooked MBP up to 1080p Samsung monitor, but I think if you're in mirror mode, with MBP open, both displays are limited to the MBP's max resolution. I have the MBP set to 1680 to 1050 (max), and the Ext. Monitor to 1080p in the Mac display prefs. I can check the samsungs (from the monitors menu) info and it says 1920x1080, and I changed it to NTSC (from PAL), and 67.5kHz 60Hz PP...

Sup wit dat? :p
