Mac Pro Video Issues

Hello I have an old mac pro I believe I was running Mountain lion and the other day we were online and all the sudden vertical lines appeared on the screen They are gray and pink-Ish red-ish.
I was unable to do anything with it so I had to shut down the computer improperly and when I restarted it the lines immediately appeared back on the screen now accompanied by some pattern of black dots. The Apple appears on the gray start up screen then disappears but this screen continues to stay gray along with the vertical colored stripes

Which Mac Pro model do you have? The video issues could very well be the video card going bad (possibly).

Lol good point I am sure that is the title of most everybody else's post. I'm not sure what model it is I will have to look at it when I get home
