Im at ease now knowing you are getting hit worse ;P

My gripe is over the last 4-5 weeks i have lost at least 10 days work due to rain. This is meant to be getting into summer and doesn't look like slowing for now . . . But without controlling the weather, what can you do apart from moan about it lol

Rain makes me hungry . . . .

speaking of rain, it hammered down in Doha yesterday for most of the day, on and off... it was delightful save for the messy wet clothes of the children dripping all over the floor...:Mischievous:

2012 and computer mice are still foiled by hair and dust.

Totally not use to this in the mid-west this time of year... Looking forward to the week though!

That looks like my forecast. Very close. Is that unusual this time of the year where you live?

It's been so dry here. Hardly any rain compared to normal. It's supposed to pour this week here.

It's quite usual. Even if this kind of weather does happen, it's only for 1-3 days. But it's been trending towards this weather for the past couple of days now. We usually don't see this kind of weather until mid-April.

That makes dial-up look good! :p

The fact that your test server is 800km away doesn't help either.

I just fixed what must have been my 500th Acer laptop with a broken screen - this one had a broken hinge as well - snapped right at the bend in the metal.

Acer makes junk... plain and simple. Although this one was pretty easy to disassemble (it's a walk in the park compared to a plastic MacBook), There's precious little in the way of bracing or structural elements - everything is plastic. You can just tell, it was built to be disposable.

The sad thing is, this seems to be the trend in the industry (but Acer is probably the worst offender). I wonder what Windows laptops would cost if they were built to the same standards and using the same materials as Apple (not that I want them to be as difficult to take apart).

New mountain bike for this summer! Just got it home today. It's a 2012 Trek Mamba. Can't wait to hit some trails with it.

I rode down the block when I got home, I like it. My old bike was a Trek 4300 with 26in wheels. This has 29in wheels and the entire bike just feels better, and is much more comfortable. I'm looking forward to getting it out soon.

Very nice Stretch...those 29" wheels sound awesome!:)

Not sure if you ride for the enjoyment of it, exercise, or the occasional race. I used to compete in road races & track races (Velodrome)...USCF license.

Just for the enjoyment. Although, in June there is the Black Fly Challenge in the Adirondacks. I'm interested in doing it, but not sure if I'm capable to riding 40 miles in one go yet.
