Does anyone know what could be causing my mac book pro 2019 to go to the bios lock screen after a restart? But when I put in the bios pass code it seems to work fine booting back into the OS. Tell it seems to randomly lock up again.

Welcome to the forum. Macs don't have a BIOS, so what is this "bios lock screen" you are talking about? Maybe a screen shot of it would help? And what is this "bios pass code?" Again, no BIOS in the Mac.
Did you maybe set up FileVault? That requires a password to unlock the encryption on boot.

Do you mean firmware lock by any chance? Either way, as Jake suggested, best to show us with a capture what you are looking at as opposed to trying to describe it if you aren't super familiar with Macs.
