hi there, I'd like to jump on this thread if I may. after more than a decade on win-based machines I plan on switching to a PB G4 15" 1.67GHz w/ SD in the near future.
I'll probably go for 1GB of memory, but I'm not sure yet about the GFX card and HDD. as for the GFX card, I don't game and I don't do video editing. would u go w/ the included 64MB card or upgrade to 128MB? also, does the larger card produce more heat than the 64MB one?
HDD... how much space does the OS use from scratch? I'll likely store a lot of music and movies on the HDD...so take the 80GB or go for 100GB?
