just last month i bought a computer with os 8! what's this about them coming out with "os x"?! I SHOULD DEFINITELY GET A FREE UPGRADE!

Buddyboy51, I bought my macbook from a reseller one week before Apple upgraded them. The store didn't know. NO ONE knew! I'd been researching for two months before I bought and the timing just happened that way.

Almost everything I post recently makes me feel ancient.

Look up the name Adam Osborne (no, he's not Ozzie's oldest kid). His company went bankrupt because of a pre-announcement.

Don't they teach history anymore?

Agreed with Baggss and do not feel ancient. I know about the Osborne also and most of the old systems. I have used most of them in fact and still own a few like the IBM 5151 made in Boca Rattan Florida and very first Atari 400 for example. So don't feel too old! :D
