My wife would like just one iCalendar and have it synched to her iPhone.
There are far too many confusing options - don't need public holidays, birthdays, work calendars and so on.
How to strip things down to just the one iCalendar? And how to dump the rest? No bells and whistles.
Thanks in advance. M

On the Mac, in Calendar, there is a sidebar with calendar options. Uncheck any you don't want on the Mac. On her iPhone, open Calendar and at the bottom center is the button for "Calendars." Tap that and uncheck any she doesn't want. Assuming that what is checked on both are the same, they will sync (as will all the others, but they won't display).

Simple. Login to iCloud. Go to Calendar, remove all the calendars you don't want. Create a new calendar.

Login to that iCloud account on all devices and you'll have one calendar that is synced.

OK … many thanks. Guess it will be possible to do these thing from the iPad … it’s difficult on the phone because there is little space for clumsy fingers … (?)

Any device is fine with a browser to do the work. iPad is even better with a larger keyboard.
