I don't wifi and don't want to be followed around, so Is there a way other than wifi and location services to set the clock on the ipod? One of my ipods is right on with the time and the other is 2 minutes fast.

Try connecting it to the iMac by a USB cable. It should sync time to the iPod.

It no worky. I do long for those days of prior OS's when the pics were not there and it was very simple because the new crapola on there just means you have to wade through it and it serves no real purpose other than Apple wasting space so you presumably have to buy a bigger device.
Would be nice if you could just make the graphics "Go away".

The OP described it as, "Problematic one - s/w 15.7, 7 gen." There are only two models that are 7Gen, the Touch and the Nano. He indicated it was the "newer" one. iPod Nano was stopped in 2015, so it's more likely to be a Touch.

But I could be wrong, the OP didn't tell us.
