Hi everyone.
I tried to replace an iphone 6 display and it didn't work out as I wished (I'd like to specify that in the past I always been quite successful in the DIY). I also broke one of the connectors. Is there a chance that I short circuited other components? Is it worth buying another after market display and try on my own? Or go to a repair shop that will throw me at least £75. Thank you

Little update : just pressed the home button with the side button and it says to attach it to itunes support/apple.com/iphone/restore......and it's downloading an update of software...
so maybe there is little hope

new update. It turns on with all kinds of lines but it doesn't let me put the passcode. Is it the display that needs replacing? or any other issue?

I tried a working screen, and unfortunately even if I could see the what was on the screen it didn't work....I guess I short circuited something...

Sounds more like it's well done or even overdone... ;)

What's a used working iPhone 6 worth these days???

Barely worth repairing I would think...
