iPhone 13 Pro Max vs. 12 Pro Max MagSafe Clear Cases -

Hi -

I've heard that iPhone 13 Pro Max is slightly larger than the 12 Pro Max. Is it sufficiently larger that my iPhone 13 Pro Max will not fit in my 12 Pro Max MagSafe clear case?

iPhone 12 Pro Max
Height - 6.33 inches (160.8 mm)
Width - 3.07 inches (78.1 mm)
Depth - 0.29 inch (7.4 mm)
Weight - 8.03 ounces (228 grams)

As you can see, the iPhone 13 Pro Max is .01 inch or .25 mm deeper. Since the cases are created to fit a particular phone precisely, a .1 or .2 mm difference is likely negligible depending on quality of the manufacturing, but .25mm is likely too much.

Try it and see if it fits.

Sorry to say but the 13PM will not fit in your old 12PM clear MagSafe case. The camera lens hole will need to be larger. The 13PM has a larger camera lens footprint when compared to the 12PM. Physical size-wise they are identical except the 13PM is thicker - but not by much. If you lay them side by side on a flat surface you will notice a difference.
