iPad 3G will ship this week!!! Charged my CC today

its official... a friend of mine that works at apple told me its comin out the 30th and that since i pre ordered it should arrive at my house that day.

This is awesome. You all can beta test the 3G ipads for us. And tell us all the gossip about them. ANd we'll know more if they are for us or not.

I had pre-ordered 2 iPads, Apple charged my Credit Card for the 32gB version (my wife's) this morning.
Hopefully, mine will be following along shortly. Based on the traffic here and what happened with the Wifi model I expect both to show up at my door next Friday (30 Apr).

The best part is that is my off-friday so I will be home to play with it.

I was really hoping for this Saturday (24th) since finals are just around the corner and I wanted some time to play with it. Oh well, I suppose a few extra days won't kill me.

Apple Antics

When i opened my .me mail this morning my heart raced to see an e-mail from Apple titled Shipping. My hopes were dashed when I opened it and found it was the camera cable. PHOOEY! I had hoped that it would get here this week but Apple says "late April" and they mean it.
