Well my Mac Mini should be here tomorrow.
Yesterday my LaCie DvD usb2.0 burner took a crap on me. I took it back to CompUSA (I have a 2 year service plan w/ them) and try to get a exchange, but they do not have any LaCie burners in stock. So I only found one more burner that claims it is Mac compatible and its a Iomega Super Drive 16x.
So I take it home, what a POS drive. Now I want to return it.
My question is would I be able to use any other external dvd burners from CompUSA even though they do not claim that they are Mac compatible? I can eiter get a external USB or Firewire one. Please help? Suggestions.
Yes,,, I am a new Mac user. :bone:
