I'm running iMovie 10.1.12 on High Sierra. I completed an iMovie project and deleted the project from the program after I saved it to the HD. I subsequently found for clips I want to include in the deleted project. Is there a way to import the mp.4 file back into iMove and add the missing clips? Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Yes. Just re-import your mp4 file. Insert it in the time line and use the "Split clip" function to split the clip where you want to insert the missing clips.
Thanks so much for your help. I assumed there would be a way to break it back up and insert new clips, I just haven't had time to noodle around with it. The time savings on my end is much appreciated.
