iCloud backup how do I know everything is being saved?

My most important thing on my iPad is my notes and calendar. How do I make sure those are being backed up?

I didn't see a section for backing up notes.

iTunes > Devices > iPad >Info > Other > Check the box Sync notes then click Sync lower left your done.
