hp envy 4500 can't get it to work

Please can anyone help, i have been trying for weeks to get my printer to work.i have a MacBook with os sierra. it keeps saying something about cannot download driver from server or something like that. i have been on the hp website and exhausted all avenues.

i am not brilliant on a computer so easy steps would be great if anone can help

Your HP Envy 4500 is fully supported. Here is the LINK to download the driver for that printer. What I suggest you do, is first completely remove the printer and then follow HP's instructions to install it. After you download and install the driver, your printer should work.
