sorry, Adium is at Adiumx.com - I always call it adiumx - wiki says that adium x was the name that adium used to be known by :)

I use Skype all the time with Video chat with my iSight talking to family Overseas who run PCs (sucks for them :D) but it works flawlessly and I love it.

When it comes to iChat, well I love the interface and all but it would have been much better if it supported MSN as well so I can talk to all my MSN buddies, instead I do use Adium and love the interface on it, but it doesn't support Video Chat.

Ichat, Aim

I grew up on AIM and it's worked pretty well with ICHAT.

Only qualms:

The video chat rarely works with PC users

I haven't figured out how to group my buddies as I did on AIM

Apple is so awesome, i switched about 6 months ago and am happier everyday.

Love that avatar! Surprised (since you are in Miami) it is not green and orange!

I never used iChat since I got my MacBook. I use MSN since ALL the people I know use MSN. Yeah it's crazy.

I've never used iChat so far.

One reason is that I live in Brazil, and for instance, I know noone in my city that has a mac. All my friends use MSN Messenger, and for that I'm using Adium/Skype.

I would like to use it but it is too limiting. I have friends that use MSN and Yahoo as well as AIM. If iChat (like Adium) contacted all of them I would switch in a heartbeat.

UPDATE: Decided to try something new: I took AIM off of Adium and use iChat now for AIM and Adium for the rest. I especially like iChat since I discovered that pictures entered into the address book appear in iChat (and email).
