How do I turn off updates for Canon Printer?

I no longer have a Canon printer but I keep getting notifications to update my Canon software.

How can I turn this off?

Thanks for any help you can give.

Is the Canon software still in the Applications folder? If so uninstall it.

Also, look in System Preferences > Pint & Scan, is the printer still listed? Select it, then select the minus (-) at the bottom of the sidebar, to remove it.
