Yea its not my main system. But I will prob like it so much I will be on it all the time. Read your other post about CompUSA and I can relate. The apple guy there was like a car salesman. Oh well, i am not getting it there anyways.

the screen is larger (of course a plus) but the 12" didn't bother me..plsu I like smaller electronics..and also the keyboard on the 14'' is the same but it looks like there's so much space around the keyboard (unused space) the 12'' just fits well IMO

I have no problem using a 12" laptop as my main system. That is what dual monitors are for. ;) A non-hacked 12" iBook might be a bit rougher though.

Normally the iBook will only duplicate the internal display on any external displays.
The screen spanning hack lets you use an external display to extend your desktop instead.

I think the hack is called 'Screen spanning doctor'...
