Your Mac's Specs
2017 15" MBP, 16gig ram, 1TB SSD, OS 10.15
Audio CDs work fine. The install DVD reads fine and I can read other Data DVDs, transfer files etc. The movie player seems to be crashing when I put a movie DVD in. I'm looking into this.

So just to be clear. The Mac OS 10.5 DVD you have can be:

- read by your DVD drive
- will mount on your desktop
- but you cannot boot your computer from it

Is this correct?

Can you also please verify:

- what the processor speed is of your computer?
- how much ram your computer has?
- how much free/available hard drive space you have?

Thanks,

- Nick
