Wow! what a warm welcome.

I was born with flat feet and had it corrected when i was 12 with a strange procedure that i cant really explain but i had titanium plugs put in. and the left one worked its way out a half inch last year. so i had to have it removed right quick. and they thought it would stay because i had it in for 8 years but it collapsed

so they put a bone graft in some other place in my foot that apparently fixes the situation also. I don't understand the logistics of it.

Wasn't there this movie (with Ray Milland?) about a pianist who I think has a car crash and looses one of his hands. He gets a new hand and he finds out that that hand, omg, has a mid of its own. He researches the donor and... well I don't want ambi to faint...

Welcome back, Ambi. We missed you!!

I know exactly what you're going through. I was in a car accident and my right ankle was broken up pretty bad. Now I have 3 big screws and a long metal plate holding it together. (the x-ray of all the metal work is actually quite humorous to look at) I hope I never have to go through another surgery like you did.

Take care and follow the doctor's orders. There's always the feeling you can start walking earlier, but just sit back and try to enjoy the restful time while it lasts.

ah, last night i had a shot of my favorite vodka, i'll say its unrelated but..

I lost my balance while crutching and instead of falling on my *** which would have been a better choice, I caught myself with my other foot... needless to say i spent the rest of the night and morning in the ER.
everything is fine technically, just ripped some tissue. Sooo I'm on dilaudid now. Neeeeed to take is easy, more so. haha

:-/ i'm ok though.
