Hdmi connection from a 2013 MacBook

My daughter has a 2013 MacBook she want to connect to the HDMI port on her TV. I have no idea what type connector the 2013 has. (My M1 actually has an HDMI port.) I know she has one or two Thunderbolt and USB ports but nothing about video ports.

Thanks, but I'm not going to do her research for her. I was hoping there might be an obvious answer like a Thunderbolt to HDMI adapter or something I could pass on.

She was way ahead of me. Apparently the Thunderbolt port on this machine also acts as a video output. She got an adapter that works. It even includes the audio.
