Excuse the rather trite subject header, but I am simply amazed at the quality of the footage, and how well it was rendered. I watched a Wildlife HD clip in a paltry 720p format, and was blown away. Mind you, I'm also a part time TV salesperson at Circuit City, and whilst I watch DiscoveryHD theatre in 1080i all day long on plasma's and nice LCD televisions, there's something special about experiencing HD on an Apple laptop. I am so very excited to see what the future brings for us.
Interesting bit though, I have a 1.5 G4 pb with the standard 512 mb of ram, and I was able to play the 720p trailers fine. Apple says I need a 1.8 ghz G5 to enjoy it though?
My only regret is that I don't have a dual 2.7 ghz G5 system to play the 1080p!!
