This is the year that the pronunciation is cemented, back the way it used to be said. Last year was the year I predicted, in Two Thousand, that almost all people would first say as "Twenty Twenty" rather than "Two Thousand Twenty". I think it was becoming common in the teens, but not universal. Many still said "Two Thousand Nineteen". I heard it that way a lot, but I have no way of proving when the tipping point was.
