I try to run paperless... some clients are stubborn though.

Depending on the design, I suppose, a paper shredder wouldn't be the ideal toy for a one-year-old. {shudder}

I'm thinking it might be one of those tiny RC Heli's, and small size gifts like socks or slippers.
