Can you boot off your OS 9 CDROM disk? If so then, load OS 9.

Another thing you can try. If you can boot up in X, can you change the start up disk to the CDROM disk and then boot?

I'll give that a try, ive tried booting from the CD by restarting and holding down the C key, but that didnt work.

To Erase And Start Over, Please Follow The Original Instructions That I Provided Earlier.

Repartitioning The Hard Drive Will Erase It.
