Help! How can I fix this? Macs are supposed to be more stable than PC's, and I'm constantly having problems with mine.

It did it all of a sudden, it started in suitcase and then made its way to finder. It is only in extensis suitcase and the finder, the rest of my programs are displaying fine.

I have osx, ibook g4, how can I fix this? Thanks!!!

That happened to me a few days ago, though not nearly as bad. It was only in Finder and Firefox that it did it. Rebooting fixed it for me...

I've rebooted, then deleted a bunch of duplicate fonts in font book. Then rebooted, and it's still messed up. Any other suggestions? I have no clue how to fix this or where it came from??

any resolution to this?

I have the same missing letters, but it's only when I'm online.
It's VERY annoying....did you find a reason/resolution to this problem?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Ditch Extensis Suitcase - it's buggy.

Download Linotype Font Explorer (it's free) and run all the options to clean system font caches and application font caches.
