Problem Formatting External USB Hard Drive
:yinyang:
So I connect the good old macbook to an external hard drive (actually and internal hard drive in an enclosure) and I open the disk utility, it has no problem recognizing the hard drive but when I go to partition it for MAC (I used it previously on a PC so I know it works great) it acts like everything is ok then the little color wheel just sits and spins and spins and spins.
I know its 150GB but after like 4 hours of spinning I loose faith that it is working. The hard drive definitely spins up and sounds like it is working but I never see a status bar or any progress (should I?)
Thanks so much for you input!
