Force Eject CD on Intel-based Macbook

simple force-eject solution (possibly)

Simply restart.

After hearing the chime, click the mouse button repeatedly (the single one on a laptop, the right button if you have an external mouse) until it ejects.

I don't guarantee this will work, but I have never had it not work. It's certainly an easier possible solution than most of the other possible ones.

this did it

By far the simplest way is to reboot the machine, and press and hold the trackpad button at the startup tone until the disk comes out. Not sure I'd be recommending the 'pull it out with tweezers' approach until all other avenues had been visited ...
