Greetings and Salutations,
I have downloaded ebooks from sites such as Project Gutenberg, International Archive etc. Before I export them into Apple Books, I use calibre to massage them. E.g. titles, author's names, series, cover art, and other things.
I noticed that Finder preview pane may show a different image than what calibre's cover.jpg is. This is the cover on the website I downloaded the ebook from. This unwanted image then gets into the ebook when opened in Apple Books (not as the cover though).
How can I get rid of this, or better yet substitute my cover jpg in its place?
I tried all kinds of search criteria on the web, as well attempting a number of ways that might, and did not, work on my MacBook Pro.
Any suggestions, solutions, or questions would be very appreciated.
