...and is giving her entire PPC collection to us (because of some valuble information on the HD's, she doesnt want to donate them to a stranger)!
Never tell her how to wipe the drives, so you'll get the Intels in a year or two.

For some reason, I've always loved the simple design of the LC, LCII and LCIII. In the early 90's, everything was a BIG beige box with a monitor that may or may not match. Apple changed that with the LC series. They were small...and had a monitor (albeit small) that matched perfectly.

Who could forget the tall monitor, designed to show a whole page of a document at a time?

Wow right before I read MattGiaco's post I was gonna say that back in the early days the LCII was my favorite mac. But all around my favorite has to be the 20th anniversary mac. The Imac swivel was pretty awesome too. Revolutionary for the world of computing when it came out as most apple products were.

A (roughly) 12"-PowerBook-sized laptop, with a docking station that gave it desktop-sized drive bays, expansion slots, and ports.

It's codename was Best of Both Worlds. And it was. I never owned one, though.

they should rework that duo design and make a cinema display with a hard drive and a slot for a macbook!
