Hi guys, during a FaceTime call the camera will suddenly shut off with no warning, the call continues but as expected the other party loses sight of me.
I open up the terminal, and type in the command "sudo killall VDCAssistant" and that appears to reset and restart the camera. Its been a while since I've had any FT calls, but this problem was still happening on El-Capitan, now I'm running Sierra. Numerous updates have been run and installed through the App Store, but I'm a little saddened that this problem keeps happening.
Does anyone have a more permanent fix besides me continuously using the above command every time the camera shuts off?
Thanks,
Fisher
