nice find. I'm sure a lot of people who are a little hesitant to replace their dock files will benefit from this

That's cool.. I removed my "scurve" files so that my dock simply looks like clear glass, completey transparent, with the reflection just like clean glass.

Thanks all - meanwhile, Stumbleupon

I am glad everyone liked the dock changing site. I found it through stumbleupon - this website lets you set your topics and then you just press the 'stumbleupon' button and it takes you to random sites based upon your interests. Being a real Mac fan, one of my topics is obviously OSX. You need to download firefox and then go to http://www.stumbleupon.com/, download the stumbleupon toolbar and off you go... enjoy

Nice one! Did the same thing...But. Do you have your dock on autohide because I do and whenever I open a fullscreen window I can see some artifacts from the dock disappearing at the bottom of that window. I'm new to whole mac thing so I am still learning so I wish I could put up a screenshot to show you but try it out and see what I mean.

I like my dock the way it is.

You'd be amazed how just darkening the default one slightly makes it look so much better!

okay .. i have located a little mod that allows one to make the dock in leopard look just like clear dock... maybe 98% like clear dock.. with no apparent problems.. for my end anyway.. i would love to show you a screen shot, but i can't seem to upload the image in attachments?? does anyone know how i may rectify this so as to show the people that would like to revert back to a cleardock style or similar style??

thanks -

Just came across this via TUAW.com.

Palette. You can try it before you buy it. You get to customize stacks as well and the menubar.

can anyone who's used this post the name of the program. The site hosting it seems to be down, but I imagine a quick Google search will locate it elsewhere.
