I agree .mac is a little pricey. But I did love the 30 day trial. All the iLife apps mesh so well with .mac. I would really like to be able to use iWeb and iDisk. Maybe if they update .mac or I have the extra cash I'll buy it.

How do you get the free trial? Is that a dumb question? hmmm...

You can go on apple.com, click on .mac and there should be a link to a 60 day trial.

i do and have done for 2 years (on second year now, renwed in feb)

it is sort of worth it. but there are cheaper or free options out there.

can anyone enumerate other cheaper or free options that are very similar to .mac? thanks :Smirk:

I'm getting a macbook soon and I'd like to maximize use of iweb, but don't want to spend $99 upfront. something dependable with a monthly fee maybe or free is even better =)
