Thanks for posting back. I had a feeling that once you provided the Bill of Sale to Apple that they would remove the password. Apparently, they have a way of removing the password by clearing or resetting the PROM but of course, they don't let that info out to the public. Anyway, glad to hear things turned out well for you.
