I'm stumped on this one, one of two volumes on one SSD does not appear on the Desktop as it always did in Monterey.
We have a Samsung T5 2TB SSD which has been partitioned in half for CCC backups of both my and my wife's MBPs.
Since upgrading to macOS Ventura only my, Rod's CCC Backup volume appears on the Desktop. My wife's does not appear on the desktop or in the Finder sidebar.
It does appear in Disk Utility and appears to be Mounted because Unmount is available in the Tool bar and the eject button appears on the right of the volume in the sidebar menu.
In the past when connected to my MBP I would see both Volumes on the desktop and attempting to eject either would bring up a dialogue stating there are two Volumes in this drive would you like to eject both or select one. I almost always selected both but now the only way to avoid the "This drive was not ejected properly..." warning is to eject it from the Disk Utility window.
It behaves exactly the same on my wife's MBP, only my Volume displays on her desktop although hers is clearly mounted in DU.
Honestly I think I have tried everything I can think of but I'm stymied on this one.
