Changing Signature on Gmail Accounts

We wanted to change the signature on our emails using our 2 yr old Mac Air.

I brought up the details of my G-mail account and went down the sheet to the section dealing with Signatures. I typed in the new signature and then I tried to get down to the bottom of the sheet to press the Save button, but I was unable to go down any further. I did this on my Windows 10 computer and i worked well.

My wife reminded me that we had other instances on the Mac Air where we were unable to view the whole 8.5 by 11 file. I am asking for your help, but I realize that this must be a problem in the Google Family? Any hints or suggestions? Thanks.

Which mail app are you using to access your gmail account? If it's Apple Mail, there is a way to add a signature to your outgoing email messages.

I am using the Gmail app. Perhaps I should take your suggestion and switch over to Apple's mail and I can then do as I wish about the signature. Thanks.
