Hi,
My MacBook Pro that I've had for about 2 years now all of a sudden isn't recognising any CDs or DVDs I put into the drive - I can't even start up the install disc when I put it in and hold down D on startup.
I have check under ATA in the System profiler and the drive info shows. I have tried to restart the finder under force start and I have also tried restarting the PRAM.
Does anyone have any other ideas on what I can try? I am crossing fingers and toes that I won't have to take it to get looked at!
TIA
