Hi,

Since I upgraded my MacBook to Sonoma 14.2.1 my calendars on my iPhone and Mac are no longer synching. Making an appointment on one device does not show up in the other device's calendar. Any suggestions to get these two communicating again?

Thanks

Is this an iCloud calendar or local calendar? if the former, ensure that you've signed into the same Apple ID account on all devices, if the latter, it doesn't work that. 😃

@MacInWin It is the Iphone XR iOS 16.7.2. They are local calendars, not using the cloud for anything.

Have you tried logging all devices out of icloud, then logging back into icloud? They all need to connect through your AppleID and that is how to do that.

If it is truly local calendar, then they don't sync with anything.

Use your Apple calendar, on all your devices and it will sync between them.

Folks, let's be very clear here to avoid confusion. If you login to your Apple ID on a device, you get a calendar associated with that login. You can create multiple calendars on that ID as well. Every device that logs ins with that Apple ID will see the data on those calendars.

You can, also, create local calendars on any of your devices and these don't require any special logins or anything but also aren't shared anywhere either.

So, "Apple calendar" isn't specific enough.
