Cannot Start DBeaver: Killed: 9 from CLI

I know I have started DBeaver in the past, but today, for some reason, it would not start. If I tried clicking on it to start, I get the "The application 'DBeaver.app' can't be opened." popup. If I navigate to /Applications/DBeaver.app/Contents/MacOS, and try ./dbeaver, it gives me "Killed: 9". Why isn't DBeaver starting now?

grg's suggestion here did not work for me, because upx was not used to pack dbeaver, apparently.

Apparently, uninstalling and reinstalling using

brew reinstall --cask dbeaver-community

worked, and it even remember old settings like database connections. Problem solved!

Is this the DBeaver database app? Just wanted to be sure.

Are you sure the DBeaver app has worked on this computer before...and if so...was the macOS on this computer updated since that time? This sounds like an app trying to run with a macOS version that it's not compatible with.

If nothing has changed...maybe try reinstalling the app.
