Hello,
I have an early 2009 unibody silver MacBook pro. It stays on the spinning logo and gray screen on load up.
I have tried resetting nvram/pram, starting in safe mode and I still get nothing.
I have replaced the hard drive but it is not recognized.
I called apple support, gave them the computer serial number and told them that I didn't have the original installation discs. They sent me what they said I needed which is the leopard 10.5 retail installation dvd.
I put the dvd in the drive, held c and got the installation dvd to appear. I select it and the computer just reboots over and over. I can not get to any type of installation screen.
Anyone have any advice? Thanks in advance.
