My new Windows Mobile 7 phone was delivered today, the Samsung Focus. All i can say is WOW....its totally awesome. I am way more excited about this phone than when i got the iPhone. So now the iPhone 3G is going in the junk drawer.
Zune..... Lol
So far here is what i have as far as pros and cons Vs iPhone.
Samsung Focus
Pros:
Larger screen
Removable battery
MS Office integration. Can create / edit word, excel power point and OneNote documents
Music (Zune) Player has much larger text for artist, album and Song
Pictures – Much better organization, Albums can be broken down in to multiple sub albums
Contacts are integrated with your facebook friends on your phone. So any missing info from your main address book gets pulled from facebook, including their avatar.
Several of the apps function better and are more polished visually as compared to their iPhone counterparts.
Cons
No copy and paste
No Landscape key board option in certain apps
Lack of apps
Cannot sort apps to the way you want them listed.
Alarm clock is not loud enough
no customizable ring tones for your contacts
8 gig model only, but has micro sd card slot to accept up to a 16gig micro sd.
im sure there will be more cons as i dive deeper into the phone, however, i am still really impressed with this phone. i cant find if its supported on a MAC, but im sure it would be.
the volume levels for the music is more consistent between songs on the Samsung, with the iPhone the volume would decrease or in crease on certain songs....those same songs are fine on the Samsung.

I'm not even going to touch the shuffle comments.
You do know this was feature you could enable on the iPhone, right? It's called "Sound Check" and it equalizes the volume between all the music as it plays.
I'm not even going to touch the shuffle comments.
I can't help but note that after 3 days you haven't said anything about integration with the Mac though.
I tried that and it did not work.
i dont have a mac so i cannot comment on that.
I assumed if you were on a Mac forum talking up a Windows phone you at least had other Apple products besides an old iPhone. Silly me.
another pro for the windows 7 phone is I can access my credit union and other banks with out the need for iPhone apps that have limited capabilities. I can now access my banks from my phone just like i can with my PC.
this is the iPhone, iPad, iPod section is it not?

anyway.... I have zero regrets for switching to the Windows Phone 7. The only thing i miss about my iPhone is not having Angry Birds on my WP7. But thats due out by February i believe.
