brightness setting

I have my display set for max warm color/night shift....and the brightness set at 65%...but the brightness resets to 100%
whenever I turn off the laptop...is there a way to prevent it from resetting..?

If your chosen brightness setting isn't sticking, then turn off the option to "Automatically adjust brightness" which should then make it stick to whatever you put it at.
