Bridge Mode - Airport Router Mode

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017) macOS 10.14, 3.8 GHz Intel Core i5, 16 GB RAM
Using Airport Extreme (4 or 5 year old flat, square model), tied to an Airport Express as an extender, all of which is going through CentryLink ethernet router that was included/installed with my new home. My 'Router Mode' is set to 'Off (Bridge Mode)'. Is that the best setting as I do not know what the other options are or do....'DHCP Only' or 'DHCP and NAT'. Not doing anything fancy other than just email and internet social media stuff.

If your network is currently working then the Century Link router is handling the process of handing out IP numbers. You only need one device doing that on the network. Set the Airport gear to Bridge mode and try that. Let us know how things go.
