No, the list of restaurants it came up with fell so far short of any other app I have used for this, it was pathetic.
Now this was from the Maps area allowing for it to use my current location. There could be other options to search that I haven't tried yet. I had not experimented with Bing in any form or fashion at all previously. This was my first exposure to it, and it certainly didn't fill me with any enthusiasm about it.
(Just the already installed Maps app can locate around 10 times more restaurants than Bing. And Maps will change what it finds based on the Zoom factor and exactly where I have the map centered in my area. Bing really does none of that, and really looks like they have about 6 restaurants in downtown Dallas paying them $$, because those pop up no matter where I center the map on the screen, incl'g when that area is not within my search area. Bing auto re-centers the map to show me those 6 restaurants.)
