I'm a little confused. I read a little about "hype" over leopard being fully 64bit compatible as announced in wwdc07 keynote (or something like that, I'm not exactly a whiz).
My question is, would this make my MBP (15.4" 2.16ghz core 2 duo purchased a few months ago) faster? I guess my question here is, what is it that makes a computer 64bit? The software (operating system) that it uses, or is it only 64bit in terms of the hardware (like the processor), in which case leopard will not make my mbp faster?
Cheers for an explanation.
